Aarhus University selects TermTime and ExamTime

June 11, 2018

We are delighted to announce that Aarhus University has selected Semestry as their supplier partner for the delivery and implementation of their course and examination planning project.

With our industry partners, Eveoh and In Principo, the Semestry led consortium won a detailed and comprehensive tender process with a strong focus on quality, usability and end-user student and staff satisfaction.

Aarhus University is one of the largest and second oldest university in Denmark with over 40,000 enrolled students. Aarhus University is a globally oriented, academically diverse and research-intensive university that stands for quality and the continued pursuit of excellence in research and research-based education.

As part of the consolidation strategy on the most business critical IT-systems at Aarhus University, the project team conducted an extensive and thorough appraisal of solutions from a range of international suppliers.

The TermTime and ExamTime solution was selected to meet the aim of consistency of the core work processes, general common overview, reusability of data, smooth data exchange between the administration and the teaching environment, process optimisation and availability of personalised information and notifications.

Per Guldbæk Larsen, Program Manager at Aarhus University said “we are confident that the chosen solution will honour our target and key success factors; easy and quick availability, personalized look and feel, and very supportive tool for the university when designing workflows in the planning process in a much more automatic and informative way.”

Having recently met with the AU project team and end-users, Barry Keepence, Technical Director at Semestry said “we are excited at the opportunity to meet their demands for a real time, consistent and architecturally open solution to integrating their student centric approach to teaching and exam delivery.”
